When I received the invitation to this reunion, I reflected upon some of the experiences that you provided me with during that year. It seems as if it were only a short time ago that you were in my classes, in Student Council, or on the track team. As I looked back at the yearbook and re-read some of the comments you wrote, it brought back many neat memories.

I retired in May of 2000 from Smith-Hale after 30 years of teaching there. Since then, I have worked part-time for the Hickman Mills School District and the University of Central Missouri at Warrensburg. I recently have taken a full-time job with the University with the Regional Professional Development Center and am helping schools with dealing with discipline issues with their students.

I look forward to seeing you at the reunion.
